HANNAH LIM | 4th YEAR | COMMERCE: IT AND MANAGEMENT
MEET THE VICE CHAIR OF MARKETING
Hi there! My name is Hannah and I am a fourth year at the McIntire School of Commerce. I’m concentrating in IT and management with tracks in entrepreneurship and business analytics. I’m from Northern Virginia and love art, hiking and food (especially ice cream)!
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN UPC?
As the Vice Chair of Marketing, I am in charge of the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies, maintaining UPC’s branding, producing ideas for promotional events, and organizing a team of talented individuals. The marketing committee strives to find the best and most innovative methods of publicizing the University Programs Council to the student body through design, data analytics, market research, advertising, and promotions.
WHAT DOES UPC MEAN TO YOU?
UPC is my outlet for all things fun and creative! As a member of the UPC family for the past four years, I had the opportunity to engage with really talented and motivated people to plan amazing events. In addition, UPC always challenges me to think outside of the box and be innovative when marketing.
WHAT IS YOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE FOOD?
I love all food but my favorite is fried chicken. If dessert counts, then my close second is Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream!
WHAT IS A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF?
My arms are double-jointed so I can twist my arms around 360 degrees.
